'Dun Dun Dunna!'
Oh my god...please shut up... I picked up my phone and glared at the number. Why? Why?! This early in the morning?!
He grumbled and turned in his sleep.
Stupid Super Sleeper.
"Andy! Wake up."
I pushed and pushed to get him out of bed but to no avail, as usual. "Andy! Duty calls!"
I sighed, and answered it myself. "Hello?"
"Hello Mrs. Super. Where's Super Andrew?"
"That's not my last name, and he's dead. So go away."
"Now now, don't play like that-"
Click. Ugh. Need sleep.
I laid back down in bed and rested my head on my pillow. It wasn't long after I closed my eyes that-
"Did the Mayor call?"
"Why didn't you tell me?!" He sprang out of bed.
"You were sleeping like a dead person!"
"That's an exaggeration!"
"No it isn't!"
"Go back to sleep Sweetie."
"Not unless you are."
"I have to go work."
"Sure you do."
I sighed and rested against the bed, feeling much colder than I usually did. Andy was just clipping the latch on his cape and looking himself in the mirror. He bent down and kissed me on the cheek.
"I'll see you later."
"Sure. Don't get eaten. Or partially eaten."
"Why? Then you'd only have to deal with half of me."
"Shut up. I love you."
"Love you too."
And in a flash of silver and red, he was gone.
